Week Twelve

Walking Program

What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of GOD, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify GOD in your body, and in your spirit, which are GOD's.  1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Congratulations, we are at week twelve!

At the end of this week it is time to take our personal Stats to see how we did.

The challenge this week is 5 miles per day with abdomen toning for 3 and Strength Exercises for the other 3.  Do your favorites, or try ours. 

Walk 6 times this week:

Fitness Tip:  Studies show that strength training burns approximately 6 calories per minute, but increases the rate at which you burn calories for 15 hours after a 1 hour workout.

Weight Loss Tip: Studies show that people who eat a 340 calorie breakfast that is high in refined carbohydrates (bagel, cream cheese, yogurt) end up eating more calories  during the day than those who eat a 340 calorie breakfast including protein (eggs, toast, jelly).

Devotional:  Many times we defeat ourselves with the un-faithful thoughts that we allow to run rampant in our minds.  Many times we become negative people without even realizing it.  The challenge this week is to raise your awareness level of your thought life.  Have a friend call you at random times through out the day for the next week.  When they call, take note of your surroundings, what you are doing and what you are thinking.  Below are some scriptures to meditate on regarding wise thoughts.
