Week One

Walking Program

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and he delighteth in his way.  Psalm 37:23

Week one starts out easy.  Take the extra time to think about what you want to accomplish and set some personal fitness goals.  It is a good idea to make a contract with yourself and share it with at least one other person for accountability. 

Walk 4 times this week:

  • Day One:  Take stats.  Walk 10 minutes.
  • Day Two:  Complete Fitness Goals and walk 15 minutes.
  • Day Three:  Walk 20 minutes.
  • Day Four:  Walk 1 mile.

Fitness Tip:  The secret to flat abs is to maintain good posture.

Weight Loss Tip:  Don't eat 3 hours prior to bedtime.  Give your body that time to burn dinner as energy.

Devotional:   Colossians 3:1-11 and Romans 8:5-8.  Overeating is wrong, passion has turned from GOD to food. 

  • Repent:  Ask GOD to forgive the sin of overeating every time you overeat.
  • Pray:  Ask GOD to help you with each meal to eat what is the right foods in the appropriate amounts.
  • Trust:  Trust GOD and depend on HIM for everything including what you eat.
  • Practice:  Continually practice setting your affections on things above and not things on the earth.  Don't look back at past mistakes, move forward.
