Week Eleven

Walking Program

But I keep under my body and bring it into subjection:  lest by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.          1 Corinthians 9:27

Moving forward in week Eleven!

Challenge yourself this week by trying to walk one of your miles each day in 15 minutes.

The challenge this week is 4 miles per day with abdomen toning for 3 and Strength Exercises for the other 3.  Do your favorites, or try ours.

Walk 6 times this week:

Fitness Tip:  Studies show that cutting out one extra 150 calorie drink a day for one year can result in a 15 pound weight loss.  Adding a 20 to 30 minute brisk walk a day can burn up 20 pounds in a year!

Weight Loss Tip: Have you noticed that intense cravings and feeling a little blue hit you at the same time?  Research shows that taking a chromium supplement will lift the mood and curb the snack attack.

Devotional:  Living our life on purpose and for our purpose.  Have you asked yourself lately, is what I am doing, or getting ready to do, support the purpose GOD has given me?  This includes every minute of our day.  Earnestness in giving our whole heart to GOD and living out that purpose in our daily life.  I was challenged this week and I will pass this challenge to you.  Make a list of your principles (based on GOD's Word) that you would say that you live by and put them in your planner or someplace where you can review them every morning.  Then ask yourself throughout the day (you may need to set an alarm on your cell phone or PDA);  "Did the last decision I made support the principles that I said I would live by?"
