7 Layer Mexican Dip

Tasty fat-free dip.

Total Cost:  $9.00  Serves:  38  (2T) at $.23 per serving.


  • 16 ounces green beans, drained
  • 8 ounces fat free cream cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Taco Seasoning
  • 1 cup Thick and Chunky Salsa
  • 1 cup canned black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup non fat cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons of olives, sliced
  • cilantro, chopped

Directions to Prepare:

  • Beat: cream cheese until creamy.
  • Add:  taco seasoning and blend.
  • Spread:  on bottom of 9" pie plate.
  • Layer:  remaining ingredients in order (salsa, black beans, lettuce, cheddar cheese, green onions, olives).
  • Refrigerate:   several hours until chilled.
  • Garnish:  with cilantro and serve with fresh vegetables.


Appetizer Tip:   Celery will crisp up fast by placing in a pan of cold water and add a sliced raw potato.
