Lemon Grilled

A healthy, low fat, low cost recipe. 

Total Cost:  $5.60  Serves:  4 at $1.40 per serving.


  •  4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 white onion, minced
  • 2 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard

Directions to Prepare:

  • Combine and mix well last six ingredients in a large Ziploc bag
  • Add chicken and flip bag back and forth to coat well
  • Marinate 3 to 4 hours
  • Remove chicken from bag, add more lemon pepper seasoning if desired
  • Grill chicken until juices run clear



Meat Tenderizing Tip: 1/4 c vinegar, 2 T oil and spices of your choice (Italian dressing works good) with meat in a sealed bag for a minimum of 2 hours.
