First blooms of Spring!

Trim & Prepare

  • Trim wind damaged trees and branches.
  • Prepare all garden spots with soil amendments.
  • Remove all winter mulches.

Plant & Sow

  • Plant strawberries.
  • Divide and transplant perennials.
  • Sow outdoors:  peas, beets, carrots, radishes, lettuce and other hardy annuals.
  • Plant trees, shrubs, and roses.

Prune & Fertilize

  • Prune flower heads as the buds fade.
  • Fertilize.
