Straw & Mulch

  • Mulch azaleas, shrubs, and broad- leaves evergreens with 6" to 1' pine needles.
  • Straw all perennials. 
  • Cover with soil stalks of climbers, tree roses, and young grape vines by laying them down.

Cut & Prune

  • Trim back and protect roses.
  • Prune holly,  yew  etc... before hard freeze and save for Christmas decorations.

Clean & Wrap

  • Wrap young fruit tree trunks.
  • Place guy wires on newly planted trees.
  • Clean, sharpen, and store tools.
