Ignorant I.Q.

May 22

"Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of GOD through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:"  Ephesians 4:18

"Knowing GOD strikes at the very core of our corruption ..."

GOD has always made HIMSELF accessible to men.  It is not that knowledge is elusive to us, but real science is however,  very undesirable to the man in sin.  "But your iniquities have separated between you and your GOD, and your sins have hid HIS face from you ..."  The love of sin is the numbing agent of the wicked one, innate to our conception, and removed only by the blood of CHRIST.  "Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices."  Satan, at the earliest possible age, seeks to exploit our fallen condition, slow cooking the I.Q. to a zombie like consistency; which, when finished, will then espouse the monkey an uncle.  That is the rejection of knowledge come home to roost; and strictly foreign to GOD'S education plan for us.  "Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; ..."  One must choose their classroom carefully, for it is of dire and eternal risk to reject the knowledge of GOD.  "And even as they did not like to retain GOD in their knowledge, GOD gave them over to a reprobate mind"  When ignorance blossoms, rejection becomes personal, and boomerangs back upon us.  Having willfully chosen ignorance over HIM, empathy fades, as HE declares: "But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant."

Innate to the saving knowledge of GOD is the knowledge that GOD knows us; and that initial contact is: "... piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."  Knowing GOD strikes at the very core of our corruption, provoking the awareness that: "Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in HIS sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of HIM with WHOM we have to do."  This knowledge arouses the fact of accountability, and if not rejected, but received humbly, will move quickly to a MASTER of DIVINITY.

"Call unto ME, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
