"Believest thou this?"   John 11:26

"Man has always been endowed as 'pro-choice' by his CREATOR ..."

Have you ever stopped to consider what a lofty place our volition affords us?  Even in our post Eden, fallen state, we still retain the option to either take, or leave, what GOD says.  Man has always been endowed as 'pro-choice' by his CREATOR; but only in siding with HIM are we able to become 'pro-life'.  Because what HE says, is inextricably linked to WHO HE is, the choice we make is to inevitably embrace or reject GOD HIMSELF.  In the deepest recesses of our psyche, we understand all this; which is exactly why we hold such a high opinion ... of our opinion!

The Devil has peddled an ex cathedral bill of goods which fits nicely in the overall portfolio of man's pride.  "For what if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the faith of GOD without effect?"  'I don't believe that!' ... says the scoffer ... but dear friend, know for a certainty that it does not matter in the least to Heaven; for truth trumps belief every time.  Truth is firm, even though faith in truth is optional.  In the end, truth and trust are able to stand together or separate; but either way comes with built in consequences.  The curse of our corporate ancestry, will turn to the curse of our personal Hell, if we persist in making our convictions the arbiter of what GOD says.  "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of GOD."  Without fail, whenever we equivocate on Scripture, we deify feeling and deny the faith.  Upon this rock of truth and faith, JESUS said HE would build a church, to which the gates of Hell would not prevail!

"Believest thou this ... Yea, LORD: I believe that THOU art the CHRIST, the SON OF GOD ..."
