The Brood of Belligerence

July 10

"But ye believe not, because ye are not of MY sheep ..."   John 10:26

"... an entire new perspective is given, as the sheep learns to soar with the eagle."

Some would excuse their behavior toward the SAVIOR as atheism; but oh contraire, for the innate makeup of man, created in GOD'S image, cannot survive godless.  Left alone to seethe in his sin, the sinner will soon fashion something to bow down to, whether a tree, a rock, a piece of metal, or even a person.  We must possess an object of worship, but preferably, an object which won't object to our life of decadence.  Belligerence is the birthright of Adam's race; and thus a living GOD is the most odious thing to a dead sinner.

"Then the Jews took up stones again to stone HIM."  The presence of JESUS during those brief years in Canaan Land were a tax to character's average; and wasn't it always the most religious among the circles HE traveled, which HE enraged the most?  Like Pharaoh, modern day heretics still exhibit this sinful strain of incremental indignation.  If unchecked in conviction, it eventually drives all who possess it to their personal Red Sea of revenge against GOD.  Good news for GOD haters! ... the constitution of the Self-Righteous Party has survived intact, and without amendment, for over 6000 years; allowing its members the damnable freedom to elect Autonomy as their leader.

"because" ... answers every why of hypocrisy!  The dearth of faith toward CHRIST in our day is not  evidential, or circumstantial, it is relational.  Birth (cf. John 3:3) and belief are the Siamese of saving faith; and though a bit simile to the chicken and egg saga, the omelet of true salvation is undeniable.  The garden variety sinner who refuses to hatch a god of his own device, but instead humbles himself; will find a leg up out of the brood of belligerence, morphing instantly into a sheep of HIS grace.  There, an entire new perspective is given, as the sheep learns to soar with the eagle.

"... they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

For Love of Country
Noah Webster  (1785-1843)
(authored: Webster's Dictionary)
"The brief exposition of the Constitution of the United States, will unfold to young persons the principles of republican government; and it is the sincere desire of the writer that our citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican principles is the Bible, particularly the New Testament of the Christian religion."
